SecLookOn is an associative and secure graphical authentication solution which solves the trade-off between security and ease of use. It is easy to use and creates a highly secure one time password for each log-in. SecLookOn uses One Time Codes in a challenge/response system. Unlike other solutions, the secret key is never transmitted during the authentication process.
Fundamental security:
- Password guessing. Due to our One Time Code there is no chance. SecLookOn is highly configurable. Even a simple configuration has several millions alternatives.
- Brute force attacks. SecLookOn recognizes brute force attacks and react accordingly. Such an attack has no chance.
- Eavesdropping attacks. SecLokkOn provides security against occasional shoulder surfer. More powerful eavesdropper – so called man in the middle attacks – also have troubles because SecLookOn never transmits the secret. Thus it´s extreme difficult and complex for the offender.
- Phising. A login fake would need the correct graphical elements before. And even that wouldn´t lead to a success because unlike other solutions, the secret key is never transmitted during the authentication process.
- Dictionary attacks. These kinds of attacks doesn´t apply to our graphical one time password method.
- Key-logger. SecLookOn is using a One Time Password and unlike other solutions, the secret key is never transmitted during the authentication process. The keys pressed are valid for only one single authentication.
